Cabbage Kielbasa Supper
Altough it has been a long time since I have been able to participate in Slow Cooking Thursday, I always visit Sandra's Blog each week and all the great crock pot recipes.
Although I am not a fan of Kielbasa Sausage, my husband loves this so I fix it for him and him alone!
8 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. Kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into serving size pieces
3 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 in. cubes
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
In a slow cooker, combine the cabbage, potatoes, onion, salt and pepper. Pour broth over all. Place sausage on top (slow cooker will be full, but cabbage will cook down.) Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or until vegetables are tender and sausage is heated through.
Mozzarella Ham Strombli
1 tube (11 oz.) refrigerated crusty French Loaf
1/4 lb. Deli Ham, thinly sliced
2 c. (8 oz.) mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 T. butter or margarine, melted
On a lightly floured surface, pat dough into a 14 x 12 in. rectangle. Sprinkle 1 c. of mozzarella cheese over dough to within 1/2 inches of edge. Top with a single layer of ham and the other 1 c. of mozzarella cheese. Roll up tightly from a shortside; pinch seam to seal. Place seam side down on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush top of loaf with butter; sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.

Trying This Again
I have not had much luck with my previous blogs. Everytime I get started I have computer problems and just aggravated, give up and closed my blog. This time I am not going to be outdone!
The one thing I truly enjoy when I visit other blogs is the pictures, so not being able to download pictures on my own blog is frustrating to say the least. Until my computer comes back from the shop, sad to say, but there will be no pictures of the recipes I post.
I hope some of the recipes you find here will end up in your own recipe box.
Feel free to leave me a comment and if you try any of my recipes, please let me know.
